Gorseland's Official Version of Take One Tune
The children of Year 5 worked in groups over a number of weeks to produce their versions of Take One Tune.
This version by 'Dynamite' has been chosen as the 'official' Gorseland version.
and Dynamite's the slower version...
Because all the children worked so hard on this project, their versions of Take One Tune have been uploaded too. We hope you enjoy listening as much as the children enjoyed creating them.

Mrs Taylor has been working with her Year 5 class to create their own tune, which we will take to Kudawella school in February. Mr Trinder's Year 3 class have been working on their versions and the children are trying out their musical ICT skills too! We'll keep you up to date with other news, as Take One Tune travels through our school.
Having a go...
I couldn't resist uploading this video of children at Gorseland School 'having a go' at creating there own version of Take One Tune. The children are working in small groups during their music lessons to create their tunes and I found this group in the school staffroom practising their first few notes.
Taking One Tune!!
Dr Rana, Principle of Katha School in India, recently visited Gorseland Primary School to find out more about Take One Tune and to share Katha's project, Learning From The World.
Gorseland hope to join Katha's project when they return to school in the New Year and look forward to hearing and sharing Katha's version of Take One Tune (and hopefully their twin school Nacton's too!)
